Discover Foeth

Since 1908, we have been active in the purchase and sale of pre-owned process equipment. Today, Foeth is the largest dealer in Europe, with more than 2,800 items in stock at our premises in Barneveld, some 60 kilometers southeast of Amsterdam and Schiphol.

We serve the (specialty) chemical, food & feed, recycling, and pharmaceutical industries in Europe and beyond with our A-to-Z solutions for scaling down and providing all surplus process machinery, that will be disclosed, a new lease on life.

But we're not just in it for the money: sustainability drives all of our activities. Together with our clients and partners, we aim to reduce worldwide CO₂ emissions, benefiting our climate and that of our future generations.

Our legacy

1908

Founded by Arie Foeth in Zaandam, near Amsterdam, A. Foeth B.V. quickly gained success as a trader of various products, including metal scrap.

1920-1950

Under Jan Frederik Foeth's leadership from 1929, the company expanded its services to include demolition and dismantling, alongside machine and scrap trading, benefiting from industrial growth in the Amsterdam area.

1950-1975

Experiencing rapid growth, Foeth established a new facility in Barneveld, 60 kilometers southeast of Amsterdam, expanding the range of used machines. All three sons Jan, Aart and Wouter join the family business.

1975 - 2002

Jan Foeth assumed the role of Managing Director in 1976, driving further growth with a focus on trading process machinery in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries. In 2002, Aljo Sprik and Geert Oonk took over the company.

2002 - today

Foeth marked its 100-year anniversary in 2008, having become one of the world's largest dealers of used process machinery. With a 35,000 m² facility, extensive testing capabilities, and global export, Foeth offers premium quality refurbished machinery.
