They have a flat sieve with an adapted mesh size inside. The machines are usually constructed with a slight incline, allowing the bulk material poured in from above to be screened by gravity and the vibration effect. Fine material in the desired size and the remaining material are then discharged from the vibrating sieve. In a rotating sieve or drum sieve, the sieving process also occurs in a housing. This externally or internally fed industrial sieve is suitable not only for the sieving of solids but also for the separation of liquids from wastewater or process water and other liquids.
