Coolset (former Greencast)

By selling, buying, and refurbishing pre-owned process machines, sustainability is in Foeth's DNA. Coolset (former Greencast) has measured our carbon footprint in 2021, and we're proud to be recognised as CLIMATE ACTOR: we're actively contributing to tackling the climate crisis. Every sold pre-owned machine (of 1,000kg) saves 4.43 tonnes of CO₂ emissions (compared to when a new machine is produced). Plus: we're aiming to be carbon neutral in our direct operations by 2025. Of course, we were not idle and kept continuously optimizing our actions on the floor and our corresponding processes. Everything to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. In recent years, we have taken on 2 major projects to make great strides forward. Below you will find some more information about which projects them and an explanation of what we tackled.

Green Washing

Foeth bears in mind the possible effects on the climate. Therefore we make sure that we clean our machines as sustainably as possible. Our new cleaning station certainly helps us to do so.

Green Power

In 2023, we will commence to a major project to neutralise as much of our energy consumption as possible or even supply this green power back to the grid. This will ensure that we minimise our carbon footprint!
