Technoglass SpA is an Italian company that was founded in 1967. The company specializes in the production of pressure vessels and glass-coated reactors specifically tailored to the needs of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Since its inception, the company has focused on the research, development, and use of special glass coatings that provide high corrosion resistance and resilience to adverse operating conditions.

In 1997, Technoglass was acquired by Robbins & Myers Inc., a company that dominates the global market for the supply of glass-coated vessels and reactors. The operation is carried out in collaboration with another Italian company, Tycon, which is why the company is now known as Tycon-Technoglass.
